Elbow River Marketing Ltd. Notice to All Customers

CALGARY, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 – We would like to update you as to the recent transportation changes at CN.
As of 12:01 AM on November 19, the Teamsters Canadian Rail Conference (TCRC), which represents approximately 3,200 CN employees working as train conductors and railyard coordinators in Canada, initiated a strike action. As a result of this action, CN has informed us that they are unable continue normal rail operations at this time.
While we are hopeful that CN and the TCRC will come to a prompt settlement we must all prepare for the possibility of a protracted disruption of service. While in effect, this strike action may significantly disrupt Elbow River Marketing’s ability to deliver products to all destinations along our network. Some product allocation is likely until such time as CN rail operations return to normal.
