Alison assumed the role of Vice President – Logistics and Terminal Operations in 2021. With over 12 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, she successfully leads a dynamic team to safely and efficiently deliver products to a vast array of customers and markets, driving an unwavering customer focus and cost effective results. After completing a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance), from the University of Vancouver Island, Alison started her career at Canadian Enterprise Gas Products, joining Elbow River Marketing in 2011. During her tenure at Elbow River Marketing, Alison has held various roles within logistics and plays a key role in various system implementations and process improvement initiatives.
Evan was appointed the Senior Director of Refined Fuels in April of 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics and Supply Chain management from MacEwan University in Edmonton. He completed his CPA, CMA designation in 2009 in Alberta. He began his career with Nexen Inc. and Astra Energy Canada Inc in various financial and commercial roles. He brings a well-rounded skillset and diverse product knowledge to add value to Elbow’s customers.
As Vice President – LPG, Joel brings over 20 years of NGL experience to the Elbow River team with a wide range of North American and international experience. He started his career in 1996 in the Finance department of Canadian Occidental Petroleum working in Yemen. From there he migrated into Western Canadian NGL marketing, working for Williams, Provident and Pembina, handling the full range of light-end products and managing multiple teams of traders and offices across North America. In 2018, Joel joined the Elbow River team with a focus on marketing propane and butane in Canada, the United States and Mexico. He also manages Elbow River’s LPG offices in Calgary, Minneapolis, Kansas City and Mexico City. Joel has received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and an MBA from Dalhousie University in Halifax.
As Director of Business Development at Parkland’s Supply, Trading, Refining (STaR) group, James leads acquisitions, infrastructure development, and business line expansion. James has over 20 years’ experience in deal origination and asset development in the hydrocarbon, power and renewables sectors. James joined Elbow in 2015 with past experiences at ATCO Midstream, Transalta, and Williams in trading, origination and asset development. James has his Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
